Supporting Neurodivergent people
in Pregnancy, Birth And Beyond

tailored strategies and tools to confidently navigate YOUR pregnancy AND BIRTH JOURNEY
Are you feeling misaligned with standard antenatal courses that don’t take your neurodivergence into account?
It’s frustrating when the mainstream approach to pregnancy and birth education doesn’t align with the way you experience the world. The sensory overload, the communication barriers, and the anxiety from not having your unique needs acknowledged - it’s a lot. You deserve a preparation course that not only understands but supports you.
The ND Birth Prep Course is here to give you the clarity, confidence, and control you need to navigate this journey in a way that works for you.
These struggles not only make pregnancy and birth more difficult but can also take a toll on your mental health and your sense of agency.
You deserve a course that respects your unique experience and that’s exactly what the ND Birth Prep Course provides.
-
Sensory Overload: The loud hospital environments, bright lights, or even just the constant influx of new information can be overwhelming. You might find it hard to process what’s going on, let alone make decisions in the moment.
-
Unclear Communication: Whether it’s jargon-heavy language from medical professionals or just not feeling understood, being unable to express your needs or get clear answers can lead to frustration, anxiety, and feeling unsupported.
-
Decision Fatigue: With so many choices to make, from birth plans to postnatal preparations, it can feel paralysing to know where to start, let alone make confident, informed decisions. This leads to overwhelm and stress, which can impact your overall experience.
Here’s how that can hold you back:
If you’re neurodivergent, traditional antenatal courses often feel like they were designed for someone else - someone who doesn’t experience the world with heightened sensory sensitivities, different communication styles, or executive functioning challenges.
The Struggle is Real

✨ I’m not sure if I’ll be able to focus on an online course. How is this set up for neurodivergent learners?
The ND Birth Prep Course was created with neurodivergent parents in mind. Lessons are broken down into short, digestible segments, and you can move through them at your own pace. The content can be worked through by watching captioned video, listening to audio only or by reading the accessible transcript. 2
✨ What if I don’t know my exact due date yet, or I’m already late in pregnancy?
You can join the course at any stage of pregnancy. The tools and strategies you’ll learn are flexible and can be adapted no matter where you are in your journey. Even if you’re closer to birth, you’ll still gain support, confidence, and skills you can carry into postpartum.
3

Most birth classes are built for the “average” parent. This one isn’t. The ND Birth Prep Course is designed specifically for neurodivergent people, with a focus on sensory needs, communication strategies, executive function support, mental health and self-advocacy. You’ll find a space that truly understands and supports you as an individual.

ABOUT THE ND BIRTH PREP COURSE
I love the interactivity and subjectivity created by running the workbook and the videos in parallel. The signposting and integrated downloads are also excellent.
I’m enjoying the inclusivity of the imagery used, and how it doesn’t assume that everyone taking part is a mum. Thank you!
I appreciate having the transcript at the bottom, as I find it tricky to concentrate when just listening. Being able to read along helps me process the information more easily, and I could anticipate what was coming next by scanning ahead.
I love the fact you had outside speakers come in. Everything was useful. It's great and well-paced.
I absolutely loved the step-by-step explanation of a caesarean birth in Lesson 26. Ella Jackson’s presentation was fantastic.
I find the transcript so helpful because it lets me revisit parts of the course while putting the kids to bed and easily locate information again when I need to — especially since it’s presented in bite-sized chunks.
It’s refreshing to be reminded that I’m not asking for ‘too much’ or being unreasonable for expressing my needs. As a trans and disabled person, I’ve often found myself apologising for existing and for choosing to have a baby. It’s wonderful to have something inclusive affirming that I’m just as valid a pregnant person and parent as anyone else.
I like the birth planning tool. Doing the workbook alongside the course means that by the time you reach that section, you’ve already answered all your own questions — it’s brilliant!
There’s a lot of information to cover, but the course makes it easy to absorb — and thanks to the workbook, immediately personalisable.
