Ione is an Occupational Therapist who works part-time for Tourettes Action. Using her professional and lived experience, Ione develops and leads their evidence-based CPD-accredited, online and face to face training programmes and workshops. Ione provides advocacy and clinical consultations to healthcare professionals, employers, and individuals with TS.

During the session Ione will discuss what Tourette Syndrome is and its misconceptions, the common co-occurring conditions that may have an impact on the client, the common triggers for tics before, during and after birth and how we can best support a client with TS through their birthing journey.
